Jimin studied contemporary dance at Busan High School of Arts and was a top student in the modern dance department prior to becoming a trainee. Jungkook released a solo version of the song in February of that year, and the two created the duet as a special present to the band’s audience, releasing it on June 2 as part of BTS’ fourth-anniversary festivities.

From 2016 through 2018, Jimin covered uniform costs for graduates of his alma school, Busan Hodong Elementary School. After learning of the school’s closure, he sent the final graduates’ summer and winter middle school uniforms and autographed records to the whole student body.
